I have lived in Brisbane’s southside for more than 30 years. I grew up in Eight Mile Plains, attending local schools and for over 10 years I have been serving our local community as the representative for MacGregor Ward in Brisbane City Council.
During this time, I have worked closely with our local communities in Brisbane’s south and the Federal Liberal Nationals Government to deliver important infrastructure throughout our growing region – including for road upgrades and funding for key public transport like the Brisbane Metro.
Our community has faced the serious challenges of COVID-19. I understand the pressures this has put on local families and businesses in Moreton. As we look to the future, I have the proven track record to deliver an economic recovery plan for our local communities.
In Moreton, we have experienced massive population growth, yet we haven’t had the advocacy we need to get investment in our roads, schools, hospitals and other transport infrastructure.
As a local representative and active community member, I know how important it is for our community to have someone who will work with our community and the government to deliver the services and investment Moreton needs.
As part of the Federal Liberal Nationals Government, I will use my experience to remove the constraints on our local economy and deliver a plan for the infrastructure and services we need to create more better paid jobs and unlock Moreton’s potential.
